March The Thomas Flyer crosses the frozen Medicine Bow River outside Laramie in March 1908 during the New York to Paris Race. The torturous New York to Paris Race route covered three continents and over 22,000 miles. The American car, Thomas Flyer, ran the course in 169 days and ultimately won the race.
