The 1925 Thanksgiving Turkey Throw. The toss of a live turkey was sponsored by the Sill Brothers Store, which was located on 2nd Street in downtown Laramie. The image of the turkey is blurred in this photograph. It appears just above the Sill Bros. sign. Photo from the Ludwig-Svenson Collection, UW American Heritage Center.
