Welcome to the online collections of the American Heritage Center, which include virtual exhibits, and digitized portions of collections.

The majority of digital material can be found in our Digital Collections, which provides online access to thousands of photographs and documents, as well as motion picture and audio recordings, from collections in the American Heritage Center's rich holdings. These collections are constantly growing, as the American Heritage Center continues to digitize important historical material.

Virtual Exhibits are designed to help you explore a specific theme from AHC collections. A selected group of images will provide a brief introduction to the topic and to the types of related material, but they may not include every image relating to a particular topic. At the end of each exhibit, you will find suggestions on how you can find additional images, and pointers for further research to guide you to other printed and online resources.
