Digital Fritz Lang Papers |

| Twenty motion pictures have been digitized from the Lang Papers. Nineteen of the motion pictures Lang shot on 16mm film from 1938-1953 as he toured around the American Southwest, capturing images of Tombstone Arizona, Death Valley California, a Hopi Native American Village and what is now the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument in Arizona and the White Sands National Monument in New Mexico. All of the films are without sound. There are minimum hardware and software requirements necessary to view these materials. A personal computer running a web browser with either QuickTime Player, RealPlayer, or MediaPlayer must be downloaded and your personal computer needs a minimum 28.8 modem installed to view the MPEG video files.
