The Owen Wister Reading Room on the fourth floor is the main reference area of the AHC. This would be the place to start with any inquiries you have. All of the cataloged collections (with the exception of the Anaconda mining collection) are accessible using the reference personnel and tools in this area.

Mae West, n.d. AHC Collections

The American Heritage Center currently houses more than 500,000 photographic images. These images cover a wide variety of subjects encompassing the entire range of the Center’s collecting policies. Included are historic and documentary photographs of important people, places, and events, popular film stars and movies, personal photographs and a host of other topics. These photographs are available for study and enjoyment in the Owen Wister Reading Room.
